Phils Clinch, Mets Choke (again)

The Philadelphia Phillies clinched the NL East for the 2nd year in a row over the weekend as the NY Mets fell apart  for the 2nd year in a row, missing the post-season.  I wish I could hear all the obnoxious Mets fans complaining now.  Wait, no i don't.  

Also, the Penn State Nittany Lions took care of business at Beaver Stadium Saturday night, defeating #22 Illinois  38-24.  After a few upsets above them, the 5-0 Lions are now #6 nationally.

Eagles 2008 Season Opener

I was at the Eagles season opener Sunday and witnessed the 38-3 smackdown the Birds put on the St. Louis Rams. Great start to the season, but if they can beat the Cowboys next week on Monday night, I'll be even more hype . Above, Sheldon Brown makes Stephen Jackson's horizon flip.
