I've always joked that I'd rather watch golf than hockey, which I think is just plain boring for what's supposed to be an action sport. Tiger Woods had a great response when some asked him who he was rooting for in the NHL finals. "I don't really care. It's all about the Dodgers. I don't think anyone really watches hockey anymore."
Well put. I'm just looking forward to the start of the UEFA Euro 2008 this weekend. Andiamo l'Italia!
