To some, Superdrag might be known as the one hit wonders who temporarily dwelled in MTV's buzz bin in 1996 for "Sucked Out", but for anyone who heard the rest of their debut album, Regretfully Yours, it was clear Superdrag cared not about buzz bins but rocking out. The original 4 piece played some "reunion" shows, and I caught them, in NYC with Nada Surf, and at home in Philly at the fine Johnny Brenda's. The band ripped through many songs from their debut and 2 subsequent albums much to the delight of both the NYC and Philly crowds.
Superdrag called an audible and started off their Philly show with the Husker Du slow burner, "Diane". The rest of the setlist is pictured.
